Want to understand your pet better? Visit the exhibition «Bettes et Hommes» that is run in the newly re-open Grande Halle de la Villette from 12 September till 20 January. It is devoted to the animals, their lifestyles and manners.
   On the territory of 3,500 sq.metres one can see more than one hundred photographs, pictures, documents as well as live animals, including such rare species as otters, iguanas and vultures.
   The exibition covers four major aspects: cooperation between men and animals (“Les animaux ont un metier”), the evolution of mankind by mimicking some of the animals’ socio-morphological characteristics (“Les animaux transforment les humains”), interpretation of the animals’ behaviour through their desires and evolutionary factors (“L’animal est un étranger pour l’homme”) and animal lifestyles and manners (“Les animaux imposent des choix”).
   The exibition is of great interest to adults and children as well.
