There are few people who are not fond of good food. For them the following week will pass unnoticed. For the rest of the population the period from 15 to 21 October will be marked by the “Semaine du Goût” (Good Food Week). A number of events will be held throughout France.
   Hundreds of professionals will get together (mainly in Paris) to cook the tastiest dishes possible. Here are the main events of the following food festival: the ‘Leçons du Goût’, 6,000 culinary lessons in schools, exhibitions, tasting sessions, gourmet food markets, food-related contests, special menus in the best restaurants and the main event - the awarding of ‘Talents of Taste’ Prize for food craftsmen, farmers and chefs who work to make the food we eat tastier.
   Don’t miss the novelty of this year: “Afterwork du Goût”, evening events during which a selection of food craftsmen present an assortment of high-quality French regional products.
