The prestigious Carré Rive Gauche "antique district" pleases the most exacting art lovers with an annual event "Art at its best." Located in the very heart of the 7th arrondissement, between Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the Musée d'Orsay, Carré Rive Gauche is a home to 120 antique dealers who present a vast array of antique objects chosen by the competent art experts. The dates for the 2008 event are: May 30th - June 1st.

For the whole week-end visitors to Carré Rive Gauche can stroll along the place to examine antique furniture dating from the Renaissance to present days, as well as other artistic objects: sculptures, pictures, Far Eastern and African Art, earthenware, glassware, porcelain, tapestries and much more.
