30 June 2009 by GregoryResidence des Arts surprised me with its relaxed atmosphere and cosy rooms. Check in was effective and quick, the staff gave full information concerning the city and places to visit. Our room, fortunately, was spacious and well-appointed, in the bathroom I found bath accessories that was great, because I forgot them at home. Breakfast was nice and full, however we needed to wake up early and go to the hotel restaurant.

Location
The hotel is located in the Latin Quarter that is truly considered to be the heart of Paris. The surroundings are really impressive: the Louvre, Notre-Dame, the Musée d'Orsay, let alone the picturesque banks of the Seine.
The riverside quarter is a very special area since it has always been associated with the Bohemian chic. It is one of the places, which managed to preserve "air de Paris", the air of real Paris. Being the intersection of history, culture and fashion it is a center of attraction for the tourists as well as the Parisians themselves. Tranquil and charming streets shelter numerous cafes, shops, restaurants, theatres, art and antique galleries and stores. An important point is that the prices here are often more democratic than in the other Parisian areas. Nevertheless, the eastern part of the Latin Quarter has become very prestigious as it houses members of the French Establishment.
