The
Renaissance Paris Hotel Le Parc Trocadero has completed the first stage of renovations and joined Renaissance Hotels & Resorts brand of Marriott International. It is the third property of this brand in the city.
The hotel consists of two buildings: the first was built in 1912 , and the second - the former Hotel Particulier - was constructed even earlier, once served as a residence for Alfred Nobel and was reconstructed in 1910 in the art nouveau style. Behind these two buildings there are three "Anglo-Normand" annexes.
The 116-room hotel became the part of Marriott International in 2007 and was closed for reconstruction in 2008. Reconstruction is scheduled to have been completed by 2010. At the first stage of renovations the hotel's lobby, bar and guest rooms were refurbished and installed with finest equipment, including flat screen televisions, high-speed Internet access and video on demand.
