  • Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg costs 113 millions euro 2013-02-21 23:49:49.790 As part of its asset management strategy, Accor announces the sale Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg for a total value of 113 millions euro (i.e. 769,000 euro per room). Opened in 1979 in the heart of Paris, a few steps from the Champs а-Elysйes, Le Louvre and the opera Garnier, the iconic hotel for 147 guestrooms and suites continues to stay under the management of Accor Group due to a lon term contract. There's a renovation programme scheduled for 2014, but thre hotel will remain open during the whole working period.

    The hotel's new owner is Mount Kellet Capital Management LP, a global player for asset management spheare with more than 7 billions dollars assets. General director for Accor Dennis Hennequin comments: " The Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg is the symbolic preperty for the brand. And I am very happy to make a deal with such a quality partner. This will allow us to maintain a long-term ability to manage this flagship hotel for the Group".

The super bed (it’s the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, except the bed at my home), very tasty and delicious breakfast, perfect location. I didn’t expect a lot from the room, but it was nice, clean and warm. In comparison to other Sofitel hotels, this hotel in Paris wasn’t worse, but even much better. I liked the accommodation here very much. We spent 6 nights and had a great time except one thing: my friend’s pyjamas was lost and the staff couldn’t help us. I think they took it away with our towels or sheets. But in spite of this case we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

I with my husband have stayed at this hotel twice-and we’re going there again in March. It’s our favorite hotel – it is located in the heart of Paris and in the neighborhood to all famous boutiques and restaurants. The atmosphere in the hotel is miraculous, rooms are big and light, beautifully decorated in French style 3) It is the best hotel I’ve ever been in. Beds are perfect – soft and big, the decor is beautiful and the fireplace near the bar is wonderful…especially in snowy days! Like it very much.

It is the best hotel I’ve ever been in. Beds are perfect – soft and big, the decor is beautiful and the fireplace near the bar is wonderful…especially in snowy days! Like it very much.
